Popularly known as the first amusement park in Macau, Macau Fisherman's Wharf  boast its 111,500 square meter themed park open to the touring public for free (no admission fees) since it officially opened on December 31, 2006. Located in the Outer Harbour, this place is very near the Macau Ferry Terminal and Heliport (approximately 5 minutes walk), Macau Fisherman's Wharf is the landmark that greets visitors upon disembarking from the the ferryboat.

It was around 3 pm when we arrived at The Fisherman's Wharf, the tour guide took us there as our last destination of our Macau Tour. Since we only have a short time to spend there, we didn't waste any time and immediately explored the place. Even if being exposed to the sun was already very painful, still it didn't stopped us to pause and take some photos. It was sad that we have to be back to Hong Kong by evening. I think this place looks better at night with all the lighting and special effects that this place have. Well, it gave me reason to go back to Macau some day. There's so much to see here.

  2. That's a HUGE theme park to be open to the public! I notice that there may be a relation between free theme parks and low-population nation-states; Brunei has Jerudong Park, their version of Enchanted Kingdom that's pretty big and totally free as well. Well, it was free when I was there a few years ago haha.

  5. Macau is a great place to visit especially if you want to visit the old and modern side of Macau. My mom also made a visit to Macau twice and her 2nd trip was more memorable because they had stayed for few days and she really had some fun!

  9. That place seems nice, our next plan when we go to HK is to include Macau as well since it's near and they say would not take 30 minutes, is it? It's good to know that they're open 24/7.
