Ruins of St Paul's Cathedral in Macau

We did a side trip to Macau when we were in Hong Kong. We went to Hong Kong - Macau Ferry Terminal located in Sheung Wan for a boat ride to Macau. After passing through Hong Kong Immigration we waited for a few minutes at the boarding area until we were called to board the boat. We arrived in Macau after more than an hour and though dizzy from the boat ride, we excitedly went out of the boat, then queued at the Macau Immigration for our entry stamp to Macau.

Magnificent MACAU

Macau Tour

It was our second day in Hong Kong and our tour guide picked us from The Evergreen Hotel (HK) and took us at Hong Kong - Macau Ferry Terminal located in Sheung Wan. The terminal is one of the several in Hong Kong that provide ferry services to Macau and cities in Southern China. It is said to have helipads too for helicopter services. The terminal is part of the Shun Tak Centre, a commercial and transport complex locted at Central Hong Kong.

Enchanting Disneyland Hong Kong Tour

Arriving at HK Disneyland was a childhood dream come true. I used to envy cousins even nephews & nieces who were able to go see Disneyland (USA) at a young age. All I have was imaginations what it's like being there and see characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and try the rides that my cousins are talking about during family gatherings. Thank God Disneyland opened in HK, I don't mind if many says that it is the smallest Disneyland compared to Disney Parks in other countries as long as I am able to make my dream to reality,  I will be most happy. :-D

Enjoying the Sugary Sands of Boracay

It has been said the the sugary sands of Boracay is incomparable, and it really keeps me wondering how it became so fine and white from end to end. It's my second time it Boracay and unlike the first time where I was in a hurry to explore the whole stretch this time I decided to just enjoy the beach, the water and the company of a friend. As soon as we reached the shoreline from the resort located near D'Mall, I put off my sandal and placed it inside my net bag and walk barefoot.

Escape to Boracay Islands

It's my 2nd time in Boracay.  The first time was back in 2005 when my camera still use film and I have to have the photos printed before seeing the good from the bad shots. This time I already have my reliable 10.1mp Sony Cybershot where deleting bad shots are easier and no more printing cost :)  The journey started by taking a boat (Superferry) from Zamboanga to Iloilo.  It was an overnight trip and we reach Ilo-ilo early in the morning, took the bus to Caticlan and reached Boracay early in the evening.  We were not accustomed in booking online yet, so when we arrived in Boracay there's still a need to go and ask around for a place to stay.

Grand Palace Tour - Bangkok Thailand

Many said that your visit in Bangkok Thailand will never be complete if you fail to visit the magnificent, dazzling & spectacular GRAND PALACE. In Thai it is called PHRA BOROM MAHA RATCHA WANG or the Lord's Supreme, Great, Royal Palace. It is a complex of buildings that served as the official residence of the Kings of Thailand from the 18th century onwards. Not only was it the official residence of the King and his court but also the entire administrative seat of government. Our tour guide said that presently the King of Thailand no longer resides at the Grand Palace but the complex remained the seat of power and spiritual heart of Thailand since it also houses the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Dream World - Bangkok Thailand

We were fetched by our tour guide around 9:00 am.  It was our 2nd day in Bangkok and our schedule was tour at Dream World. Again it was a long travel, cruising along the expressway and passing in some congested area.  We arrived at Dream World after almost an hour, indeed traffic in Bangkok is quite frustrating :(

Booking & Reservations

I have to make a spur of the moment decision .... December 24, 2008 I was surfing the net while waiting for dinner to be served.  We were also preparing our things because my cousin will be fetching us to go to our home town for our traditional Christmas Noche Buena after the traditional midnight mass.  Anyway I opened the website of Cebu Pacific Air and there my eyes opened wide when I saw that they are giving away "Zero Fare" on international flight.  I ran fast to the dining and ask my Mom if she's coming with me to Bangkok and she said YES!  So I booked our flight on Christmas Eve and that was the greatest gift I've received that Christmas.
